We are a new Company, based in the South West, but we have over 35 years experience behind us, in the fender manufacturing industry. Caroline Pengelly was the Operations Manager for another UK fender manufacturer and Margaret Coles was in fender sales, and has a wealth of previous advertising experience.
We felt there was a niche in the market for a premium quality product, and made the decision to branch out on our own. We use state of the art CNC moulds for a pristine fender finish, and the ultimate technology, in the design of the fender itself.
We come from Cornwall, the county surrounded by sea, and have a wealth of knowledge of the best kind of fender to protect the most important part of the vessel, the hull. Our fenders are manufactured to the highest specifications. We are the newest manufacturer in the U.K. and our carbon footprint is therefore lower than a lot of our competitors.
We are extremely proud of the fact that our Operations Director, Caroline Pengelly, has received the coveted award for “Woman of Achievement”, (under the engineering category) covering Devon and Cornwall,2007-2008. As she has worked for another UK fender manufacturer , as the operations manager for several years, she has a wealth of knowledge of fenders and the full manufacturing side of the business.
We felt that to promote our products in the best possible light, we needed the best distributor. We are very pleased to announce that we have formed a good working relationship with “Unipart Marine and Leisure” who are one of the leading distributors in Europe and we are now manufacturing their “Wetline” brand of fenders. |

Did you know
- The Hurricane girls have done it again and secured a massive export order from Tui Marine for over 7000 personalised fenders for delivery before the start of the new season throughout France, Germany, Belgium, Holland and Ireland. Brands being supplied are Le Boat, Emerald Star and Sunsail Racing. Production is working round the clock over the christmas period to ensure delivery dates are met. We are always prepared to go the extra mile to please our customers.
- NEW PRODUCTS - We will be manufacturing our new 40x10cm (16x4") Double Eyed Fender in time for The Southampton International Boat Show in September. Watch this site for more info shortly.
- Hurricane are pleased to announce that we have now shipped our first major order to Greece for distribution throughout the Med and the Balkans.
